Traditional Thai Massage has only recently been recognised by Western society as a beneficial massage; whilst Eastern society views it as a medicinal tool for a natural healthy lifestyle. With its' roots in China and India, traditional Thai Massage dates back thousands of years, proving a very unique form of therapy and relaxation.
The techniques incorporate some yoga style positions, using deep stretching, compression and rocking. Thai Massage also follows the basic reflexology principles and therefore includes acupressure over reflexology points.
Thai Massage works on the energy lines found on the body, rather than using anatomical theory of the muscles; therefore Thai Massage can help increase vitality and sport performance. The massage is also great at helping reduce fatigue and stress, along with giving a great deep feeling of relaxation. The majority of my clients fall into a very deep sleep during the massage and wake feeling extremely rejuvenated, after two hours of relaxation.
The massage is carried out fully clothed on a floor level Thai mattress. This really is a traditional practice of Thai Massage; therefore there are no oils or creams used on the skin. As the client, you should wear baggy relaxing clothes; e.g. tracksuit bottoms and a long sleeve shirt.
PRICE: £55 (two hours)

An amazing massage which cured stress and tension pains in my shoulders. The knots in my shoulders had been building up and I asked Caroline to help with this which she did and I felt the benefits immediately.
